We may use your personal information for the purposes for which you have provided it, that is, to facilitate your entry to our exhibition, to purchase a souvenir, to attend a function or other requests you may make to us.

We do not allow comments on this site. You can however contact us using our Contact page

If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser. Note, most visitors will not need to log in.

When you log in (Admins only can log in), we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser. This cookie includes no personal data and simply indicates the post ID of the article you just edited. It expires after 1 day.

Who we share your data with

We do not share your personal data except to enable your requests to be actioned and to enable us to manage the tasks associated with conducting the Hobart Stamp Show 2025.

Requests may include entering a Stamp Exhibition, purchasing Exhibition souvenirs, and making a booking for a function. Your exhibition entry details will be shared with the Australian Philatelic Federation (APF) and the Hobart Stamp Show Exhibition Committee. The APF have their own  Privacy Policy. Details entered in relation to purchasing souvenirs, and dinner bookings will be shared with designated members of the Hobart Stamp Show 2025 exhibition committee so they can action your requests. We do not sell your data to third parties. We only share data with third parties in order to action requests you have made to us for various services, for instance our Bookings providers website, Trybookings.

If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email.

How long we retain your data

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

What rights you have over your data

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.


Where your data is sent

Exhibition entries are provided to the Hobart Stamp Show 2025 Exhibition Committee in order to manage your exhibtion entry including making a cataogue of entries, a list of exhibtion results and the management of your entry including its display at the exhibition andits delivery to and return from the exhibition.  Exhibition results are shared with the Australian Philatelic Federation and published on this website and on the APF website at https://apf.org.au. These will include your name, Entry details and results. We do not publish your contact details or address.
